General Description: This is a topographic map, with civilian applications, which includes information on urban populations, isolated and rural buildings, transportation networks and utilities, road distances and route destinations, telecommunications networks and facilities, power supply grids and facilities, industrial works, farmland and plantations, water supply and waste water utilities, vegetation, surface natural features and relief of the coverage area, heights above sea level in meters depicted by contour lines, spot heights and color shades, place names, land marks, natural and cultural features.
Geographic Coverage: each map of this type covers a geographic area of 15 east-west longitudinal minutes by 15 north-south latitudinal minutes (15 longitudinal by 15 latitudinal).
Coordinates: the geographic grid of longitudes and latitudes crisscross to form squares each with an area of one longitudinal minute by one latitudinal minute.
Geodetic Reference: the horizontal reference is the World Geodetic System 84 (WGS 84).
The vertical reference is the Mean Sea Level (Jeddah 1969).
Map Projection: Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM).
Format: digital format DGN, Raster, Geo Tiff and Shape files, on digital production medium per user request or high quality paper-printed products per user requirement.
